The young student was walking with his master at the foothills of Himalayas when a sudden arrival of dark clouds enveloped them, making the student stop to witness the splendor of the mountain clouds. “What a beautiful sight” says the student.
“Yes indeed”, replies master, “these clouds are just like your thoughts, some are beautiful like these and some are roaring. Watch these clouds, just like you watch your thoughts. Appreciate their beauty but don’t cling to them. They will come and go, but you are the sky holding these clouds.”
